We offer you a journey through time, in the footsteps of history-making men who have allowed Switzerland to be recognized as the benchmark for watchmaking excellence.

  • Discovery of the Swiss watchmaking industry, from farmer-watchmakers to exceptional manufacturers, from little-known factories to museums

  • Discovery of the picturesque Jura region, in the Eastern part of Switzerland

  • Visits to several watch museums, expositions and manufacturing sites 

  • Participation in a watchmakers' workshop at the Jaeger-LeCoultre production plant

Day 1-2 : Geneva, Patek Philippe Museum
Arrival in GenevaWalking tour of the city center in the company of a guide specialized in watchmaking history. Visit of the main historical buildings, the facades of the factories, the flower clock, the Patek Philippe Museum and the watch factory Fredéric Constant. Overnights at Hotel Four Seasons Les Bergues 5*.

Day 3 : Vallée de Joux, Audemars Piguet and Jaeger-LeCoultre

En route to Le Brassus to visit the Audemars Piguet Museum that is specialized in perpetual calendars, chimes and chronograph watches. Its main exhibition presents some 300 timepieces retracing more than two centuries of watch history in the Vallée de Joux. In the afternoon, you will participate in a watchmakers' workshop at the Atelier d'Antoine of Jaeger-LeCoultre factory. Overnight at Hotel des Horlogers 4* superior.

Day 4 : Le Locle

Introduction to watchmaking "Les Apprentis du Temps" (The Apprentices of Time) and visit to a renowned manufacturing plant: the Zenith factory, whose history goes back more than 150 years. It’s the only manufacturer to produce three of the largest mechanical watch movements. Overnights in Neuchatel at Hotel Palafitte 5*.

Day 5 : La Chaux-de-Fonds, International Watchmaking Museum

Visit to the International Watchmaking Museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the most important museum specialized in watchmaking in the world, with 4’000 exceptional pieces on display. After lunch, a short sight- seeing tour will be organised, to admire the architecture of the city, where Blaise Cendrars, Le Corbusier and Louis Chevrolet were born. Overnight in Neuchatel at Hotel Palafitte 5*.

Day 6 : Bienne, Omega and Swatch Museums

You will head to Bienne and visit the Cité du Temps (Swatch and Omega Museums). Transfer back to Geneva.

Option: Possibility to add one day in Neuchatel to participate in a workshop to create your own Swiss watch.
